Cambridge Bay Inuit ArtInuk Charlie is among the Northern artists who continue in the artistic traditions of their families. Inuk began carving at the age of seven. He now works in serpentine in addition to making jewellery. Inuk Charlie gets his artistic inspiration from watching the birds and animals and listening to elders tell their stories. Here is one of Inuk Charlie's bears. This bear is at the Detroit Zoo- Arctic exhibit.
